Word Machinery, Inc has developed a wide variety of special in-house software to
support the daily business and operation of a manufacturing company. We developed
software that can control the break bell system, customized laser cutting CNC machine
G-Code to pre-pierce a part before cutting, Mastercam
chook development, and other types of miscellaneous software. Please click the images

Shift/Lunch/BreakBell Announcer
Description:
The application was developed as an inexpensive alternative stand-alone break bells
or buzzers. Any wav file is announced by an amplified horn through the line out
of an audio card at a scheduled time.
Features include:
-Any .wav file can be played at any scheduled time.
-Can be used to inform employees of the start/stop of shift/lunch/break periods.
-Each scheduled time can have a different .wav file. The .wav that is played for
the start of lunch can be different the start of a shift.
-The schedule file is stored .txt and can be easily edited with a text editor such
as Notepad. The horn volume can be controlled by audio mixer.
System Requirements:
-A computer running Windows98, NT Server 4.0SP5
-SoundBlaster Pro compatible sound card
-Hard Drive: 100Kb(does not include any sound files)
-Memory: Minimum 1Mb (varies with size of wav file)
External Hardware Requirements:
-The sound card 8 ohm 4 watt speaker out to connect to a
Bogen Horn Speaker model SP58A.
or
-The sound card line out to a Bogen
Mixer Amplifier model C20 and Bogen
Horn Speaker model SPT15A.

Pre-Pierce Application
The main purpose for creating this program was to save programming time, gas, and
machine operation time. A typical use would be cutting stainless steels with oxygen
pierce and nitrogen cutting. By pre-piercing all the start point's first, the machine
only has to purge the pierce gas one time and then continue it's cutting operation.
We had found that this application will increase the efficiency of laser cutting
operation and thus saving time and money by decreasing programming and cycle time
as well as gas cost savings.
This application will convert a program that is generated by FabriWin or other Laser
program generators to a pre-pierce format for pre-piercing operations. Customizing
to other software(e.g. Mastercam) and other
machines (Cincinnati, etc.) can be provided for a nominal fee.
