New Forming Collars:
What sets Word Machinery apart from other manufacturers is our “True Form Technology”
that provides full film support around the entire surface of the collar. By using true form
technology it allows our formers to be repeatable within thousandths of an inch. Also our collars
are assembled using a fully sanitary bonding method to allow for no microbial growth between the
metals and longer life. Our formers do not “pop off “after a few months of wear, and for the aggressive
film we offer the “HW” option for high wear. This option uses a proprietary method of bonding the shell
with the inner tube. Our formers come with a limited one year warranty and no plating to flake or peel off.

How it works:
Send your former to Word Machinery for a quote. After a thorough review by one of our application
engineers we will assign it a level one or level two repair. A level one repair is a simple re-weld of a
popped shell or wing that has no inner tube damage, a level two is an inner tube and shell replacement.
